Florence, Alabama native, Eugene R. Carbine, founded Carbine Construction in 1972 and served as company CEO for nearly 25 years. In January 1996, son Russell L. Carbine (“Rusty”), became CEO and continued to provide exceptional construction management and general contracting services while also expanding Carbine’s reach beyond the Shoals area and across the southeast. As a part of the family organization’s next generation, John-david Goolesby has now acquired the company, serving as our new President & CEO. With more than 25 years of prior experience in commercial construction, John-david brings an level expertise and aptitude for budgeting and managing large scale projects. Our family legacy, coupled with our excellent reputation, and continual pursuit of new relationships have positioned Carbine Construction for many successful years to come.
